Velox Map Locator includes four appearance themes: Velox, Slate, Azure and Forest.

Color modes

Each Locator can work with Light, Dark or Auto modes. Auto is useful when the site experience follows the visitor’s preferred color scheme, while a fixed mode is useful when the surrounding page has a controlled visual treatment.

Keep brand hierarchy clear

Choose an appearance that supports the website rather than competing with it. On the Velox Plugins website, for example, documentation and demos can retain the established typography/spacing while the Locator itself uses an appropriate product theme.

Verify contrast

Always test search fields, filters, cards, map controls and status indicators in the actual page context, especially when custom theme styles are present.
