Import safety

The importer validates data before committing it. Use the preview to correct systematic problems rather than importing first and cleaning records manually.

External ID

External ID supports controlled update-or-create behavior, making repeat imports practical when another system is the authoritative source.

Portable classification

Types use slugs and Groups use hierarchical slug paths so classification can be represented consistently in CSV.

Spreadsheet safety

Export/import handling includes protection against spreadsheet-injection patterns. Even so, treat CSV as data and review files from untrusted sources before importing them into WordPress.
