Distance calculations occur in the visitor’s browser. Velox Map Locator does not persist or transmit the visitor’s coordinates to Velox servers.

Requirements

Browser geolocation generally requires a secure HTTPS context and the visitor can deny permission. Your Locator should remain usable without Near Me.

Review the global distance-unit setting so displayed distances match your audience.

Troubleshooting

If Near Me does not work, verify HTTPS, browser permissions, Location coordinates and whether another site policy or browser setting blocks geolocation.
