Use this when the directory should automatically include the complete eligible Location dataset.

Selected Locations

Use a curated selection when the Locator represents a fixed subset, such as featured branches or locations participating in a campaign.

Dynamic Rules

Use classification or other supported rules when membership should update automatically as Locations are added or changed. This is usually better than repeatedly editing a manual selection for a growing directory.

Choose for maintainability

Think about who will maintain the site in six months. If a new “Dealer” Location should automatically appear in a dealer finder, a dynamic source is generally more reliable than remembering to add it manually.
