Create and edit a Location
Add the core place record that can be reused by one or more Locators.
A Location is the source-of-truth record for one real-world place. Create Locations before building complex Locator rules.
Core data
Give the Location a clear public name, structured address information and valid latitude/longitude coordinates. Coordinates are essential for map markers and distance-based behavior.
Optional business data
Add contacts, images, weekly business hours, special-date overrides, marker customization and additional fields as required by your directory.
Classification
Assign Types and Groups when you want to use those classifications for filtering or dynamic Locator sources.
Publish and verify
After publishing, include the Location in a test Locator and verify the marker position, card content and operational status. Correct source data before compensating for it with display settings.
