Velox does not store a second image assignment inside the Featured Image or Hero widgets. Instead, it resolves the current WordPress content context and asks WordPress for that item’s native Featured Image.

Why this matters

A reusable Elementor layout can be designed once. When WordPress renders Page A, Velox uses Page A’s Featured Image; when it renders Page B, it uses Page B’s Featured Image.

Single source of truth

The WordPress Featured Image remains the canonical content field. Editors update content where they already expect to update it.

Editor and preview contexts

Velox includes context handling for Elementor editor and preview scenarios so reusable layouts can resolve the intended content rather than freezing one image into the template.
