Compatibility checklist

A short checklist for diagnosing whether a layout is inside Velox's supported Elementor scope.

  • WordPress is 6.8 or newer.
  • PHP is 7.4 or newer.
  • Elementor is 3.26.0 or newer.
  • The content type supports WordPress Featured Images.
  • The area you want to change is actually rendered by Elementor.
  • For Featured Image Background, the selected layout element exposes a supported extension path.
  • The current item has a Featured Image, or the Velox tool has an appropriate fallback state.

If the two Velox widgets are available but a specific layout element does not show the background panel, review the Containers/Sections and Atomic Editor documentation before treating it as a plugin activation problem.
