Featured Image Background is exposed only on layout elements that Elementor allows Velox to extend through supported public APIs.

Containers and legacy Sections

Select a supported Container or legacy Section and look under Style → Velox Featured Image.

Atomic Editor elements

Some Atomic elements do not expose the required extension path. Use the Featured Image or Featured Hero widget in a compatible layout, or move the background role to a supported wrapper element.

Velox intentionally does not patch private Atomic Editor internals to force unsupported controls into the editor.
