Frontend performance
No frontend JavaScript and a deliberately small runtime surface.
The plugin adds no frontend JavaScript. Dynamic image selection is handled through WordPress/Elementor rendering rather than a browser-side image replacement system.
Keep image payloads appropriate
Most real-world performance variation will come from the image files and surrounding Elementor layout. Use sensible image dimensions and compression for the rendered context.
Avoid unnecessary duplication
If a layout already uses the Featured Image as a background, consider whether rendering the same high-resolution image again as a separate content image is necessary.
Dynamic caching
Velox marks its dynamic output appropriately so Elementor does not freeze one content item’s Featured Image into reusable output while leaving unrelated layout elements cacheable.
