Change the Featured Image without resaving Elementor

Why updating the native WordPress Featured Image normally updates Velox output automatically.

You do not normally need to reopen and resave the Elementor layout after changing a page or post Featured Image.

Runtime resolution

Velox resolves the current Featured Image dynamically rather than treating the original image as a permanent widget setting.

When an old image still appears

If the WordPress item has the new Featured Image but the public page still shows an older render, check page caching, server caching, reverse proxies, or a CDN. Clear the relevant external cache as you would after other content changes.

Elementor cache behavior

Velox marks its dynamic widgets—and only background-enabled supported layout elements where needed—as dynamic so Elementor output caching does not freeze current WordPress content unnecessarily.
