The Featured Image widget is the simplest Velox tool. It behaves like an Elementor image element whose source is the current WordPress Featured Image rather than a manually selected image stored in the widget.

The widget resolves the current post, page, or supported custom post type at render time. This is especially useful in reusable layouts because one Elementor design can display a different image for every content item.

When no Featured Image exists

By default, the widget outputs no image when the current item has no Featured Image. Configure a fallback image when the design requires a guaranteed visual.

Available control areas

The widget provides controls for image resolution/size, fallback behavior, accessibility, optional caption and linking, responsive sizing, alignment, borders and other presentation settings exposed by the widget.
