This workflow is the fastest way to confirm that Velox and Elementor are working together correctly.

1. Assign a WordPress Featured Image

Edit the page or post in WordPress, choose a Featured Image, and save or update the content.

2. Open the content in Elementor

Edit the same item with Elementor. In the widget panel, find the Velox category.

3. Add the Featured Image widget

Drag Featured Image into the layout. The widget resolves the Featured Image belonging to the current content item.

4. Choose display behavior

Set the image size, alignment and styling you need. If the layout must remain useful for content without a Featured Image, configure a fallback image.

5. Verify the front end

Publish or update the Elementor layout and view the page normally. Then change the WordPress Featured Image and confirm that the rendered page follows the new image without changing the widget assignment.

Tip: If an external page cache or CDN continues serving the previous render, clear that cache after changing content.
